The form of participation of the Bulgarian side in EUMAM training mission is still unknown.

“The participation of the Republic of Bulgaria in EUMAM will be a clear sign of the country’s support for the Common Security and Defence Policy of the EU and, in particular, for the military assistance mission to Ukraine,” follows from the conclusion of the Bulgarian Council of Ministers, which is cited by Bulgarian national television.

The agency recalled that earlier the Bulgarian parliament approved a plan for military assistance to Kiev.

The official representative of the Russian Foreign Ministry, Maria Zakharova, earlier warned that the decision taken in Bulgaria to provide military assistance to Ukraine is an unfriendly attack on the Russian Federation, which will lead to further degradation of bilateral relations.
