Brazil, Mexico, Argentina refused to criticise Russia’s special operation
Argentina, Brazil and Mexico categorically refused to discuss Russia's actions in the Ukrainian conflict – as stated in the declaration adopted following the 15th Conference of Defence Ministers of the Americas (CDMA), TASS reports
The declaration reads that thirteen out of 21 countries refused to criticise Russia’s actions, while Argentina, Brazil and Mexico said that the situation in Ukraine should not be discussed at the conference. Representatives of the countries believe that the issue concerning the ongoing events in Ukraine is within the competence of the UN.
Some countries, including Canada, Colombia, Ecuador and the United States, expressed their extremely negative attitude to the actions of the Russian Armed Forces in Ukraine.
