Belarusian society has little interest in fake news, Information Minister believes

Belarusians have low trust in fake news – as stated by Information Minister Vladimir Pertsov, BelTA reports

“People have become wiser. By virtue of their life experience, people have realised that everything trumpeted back in 2020 and presented as the truth then is a lie. Trust in such fake news is quite low in our society already,” Mr. Pertsov said. “In addition, we have registered a fairly sharp decline in subscriptions to alternative Internet media, messengers, and so on. This is a good trend. This is a cure for society – a kind of an antidote to fakes in the post-truth era that we are witnessing now.”
