Belarusian citizenship granted to 284 persons, including 28 minors

284 people, including 28 minors, have been granted Belarusian citizenship in line with Decree No. 80 signed by the President of Belarus, Aleksandr Lukashenko, on March 5th – as reported by the Belarusian leader’s press service

Alongside applications of immigrants from Ukraine, applications for citizenship of foreign citizens and stateless persons arriving from 22 countries – including Armenia, Vietnam, Georgia, Egypt, Iraq, Iran, Kazakhstan, Latvia, Lebanon, Moldova, Palestine, Russia, Syria, Uzbekistan, and Estonia – have been satisfied.

At the same time, the Head of State decided to reject citizenship applications of foreigners who have repeatedly violated the laws of Belarus, as well as who have not worked in our country for a long time.
