On the Russian side, the Minister of Industry and Trade, Denis Manturov, led a dialogue that was focused on the results of bilateral co-operation. Further steps to deepen industrial liaisons between the two countries were outlined during the negotiations.

As informed by Belarus’ Industry Ministry, Mr. Parkhomchik said, “The agreements reached today will provide new opportunities for Belarusian and Russian businesses to realise their industrial potential – that fully complies with the principles of the industrial policy currently being jointly implemented by the sides within the framework of the Union State.”

The sides also discussed the preparations for an annual solemn event dedicated to Day of Unity of the Peoples of Belarus and Russia. Advanced innovative products of Belarusian industrial flagships are planned to be demonstrated to Russian consumers as part of the forthcoming celebrations.

In addition, a fair of modern Belarusian automotive, agricultural and municipal equipment will be organised from March 31st to April 14th at Moscow’s VDNH Exhibition Centre.
