The first batch of helicopters arrived in August 2023.

The aircraft were piloted by Belarusians who were instructed at the training centre of the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation. The flight route covered more than 2,000km.

“The Mi-35M helicopter looks similar to the Mi-24 one, but fundamentally differs from it with the latest electronics and modern devices. It is able to use a wider range of aircraft weapons and is ready to perform tasks in any conditions,” the department explained.
