Belarus, Kalmykia discussed joint tournaments and training camps for athletes
Viktor Lukashenko, the President of the National Olympic Committee (NOC) of Belarus, has met with Head of the Republic of Kalmykia and Head of the Kickboxing Federation of Russia Batu Khasikov – as reported in the NOC press service
The two sides discussed the expansion of interaction and work on holding joint tournaments, training camps of Belarusian and Russian athletes, as well as co-operation with international sports organisations.
Batu Khasikov thanked Viktor Lukashenko for the opportunity to get acquainted with Belarus’ sports potential and expressed confidence in further fruitful liaisons, including the use of Belarusian experience in the construction of sports facilities.
The parties also discussed the preparations for II CIS Games to take place in Belarus in August 2023 and the participation of athletes from the Russian Federation.
