Belarus is now frontline state – but it has everything it needs, expert says
According to Nikolai Shchekin, the Head of the Sociology of Public Administration Department at the Sociology Institute of the National Academy of Sciences, Belarus’ food and energy security is 100 percent ensured today
While discussing the geopolitical situation, the expert said Belarus should not relax. “We need not to forget that a sanctional, economic and political war has been declared against us. All this in total is called an ideological hybrid war which is aimed at destroying us as an ethnos, nation, people, state. I believe this war will not stop," Mr. Shchekin noted in his talk with the 1st National Channel of the Belarusian Radio.
The expert named Belarus a frontline state, adding, “Belarus is now the only country in the world that is provided with almost everything. We do not need electricity or food – as we have everything. Our food and energy security are 100 percent guaranteed. However, at the same time, you see how they are trying to blow us up from the inside.”
