Belarus’ Culture Minister: Minsk-Baku cultural co-operation based on traditions and looks into the future

Days of Culture of Belarus are being held in Azerbaijan, and the programme includes film screenings, a photo exhibition and a gala concert (which has already been held at the Heydar Aliyev Palace), sb.by reports with reference to Belarus’ Culture Ministry

“The Belarusian-Azerbaijani cultural co-operation is based on deep traditions and at the same time looks into the future. We highly appreciate and sincerely value the achieved level of interaction and are confident that large-scale and vibrant joint cultural projects will be organised in the future,” Belarus’ Culture Minister Anatoly Markevich said. "Having passed through difficult vicissitudes, the fraternal Azerbaijani people can now rightfully be proud of their successes in state building, economy and social sphere, and enjoy respect on the international platform.”

Mr. Markevich wished that Days of Culture would become a new word in the cultural dialogue, where their parties could speak the same understandable language of love, friendship and creativity.
