Belarus’ Armed Forces launched staff training of joint command of regional group of troops
The Armed Forces of Belarus has begun staff training of the joint command of the regional group of troops (forces), Defence Ministry reports in its Telegram channel
It is noted that representatives of the military departments of Belarus and Russia will work out tasks of joint planning of the use of troops based on the experience of armed conflicts taken place in recent years. The topic of these week-long exercises is Making a Decision on the Use of Regional Group of Troops (Forces) in the Interests of Ensuring the Union State’s Military Security.
The Defence Ministry stressed that this complex of joint operational training activities is aimed at improving the compatibility of the two states’ military management. In addition, it is another stage of preparation for the joint operational exercise – Union Shield 2023 – which is scheduled to be held on the territory of Russia in September this year.
