Belarus’ Ambassador to Egypt discussed inter-university co-operation with Arab Academy for Science President
The Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Belarus to the Arab Republic of Egypt, Sergei Terentiev, has met with the President of the Arab Academy for Sciences, Technology and Maritime Transport, Prof. Ismail Abdel Ghafar – as reported by the Belarusian diplomatic mission in this country
The parties discussed the state of inter-university and academic co-operation between Belarus and Arab countries, agreeing to expand contacts in such priority areas as the development and implementation of joint educational programmes, as well as the exchange of teachers and students. They also discussed the sharing of information, materials and publications on academic and scientific issues, the organisation and holding of joint scientific and practical conferences and symposia on current issues of mutual interest.
