Beijing opposes Washington’s official ties with Taipei

Beijing firmly opposes any kind of official ties between Washington and Taipei – as noted by the Chinese Embassy in the United States, commenting on the visit to Taiwan by US Senator Marsha Blackburn, TASS reports

The embassy accused the US of meddling in China’s affairs, “Senator Blackburn’s visit to Taiwan demonstrates that America does not seek stability in the region and interferes in China’s internal affairs. China will take decisive countermeasures in response to US provocations,” the diplomatic mission said.
