Australia to provide $74m aid package to Ukraine
The Australian government announced that it will provide a new $74m military aid package to Ukraine – as reported by RIA Novosti
A press release on the Australian government website says, “The Australian government will provide Ukraine with a new 110m Australian Dollars aid package. This package includes: 70 military vehicles, including 28 M113 armoured vehicles, 14 special operations vehicles, 28 MAN 40M medium trucks and 14 trailers.”
The press release also noted that Australia will supply Ukraine with 105mm artillery ammunition, as well as $6.6m to the UN Office for the Co-ordination of Humanitarian Affairs, which manages the Ukraine Humanitarian Fund.
