Aleinik: Belarus committed to fastest and fullest implementation of all agreements with Uzbekistan

The ministries of Foreign Affairs of Belarus and Uzbekistan intend to increase the volume of mutual trade in order to solve the tasks set for the departments by the heads of state – as stated by Belarusian Minister of Foreign Affairs Sergei Aleinik during negotiations in an expanded format with his Uzbek counterpart Bakhtiyor Saidov

According to Sergei Aleinik, over the past four years, a 2.5-fold increase in trade turnover has been reached. This positive trend continues this year, with an increase of about 7.5 per cent in the first two months.

“Of course, the Intergovernmental Commission on Trade and Economic Co-operation plays a significant role in this process,” the Minister of Foreign Affairs stated.

Mr. Aleinik stressed that Belarus is committed to the fastest and fullest implementation of all agreements reached, “And we expect the same proactive line from our partners”.
