Belarus’ Deputy Economy Minister Alesya Abramenko during a meeting with a delegation from Russia’s Ryazan Region, headed by Deputy Chairperson of the regional government Yulia Shvakova, said that Belarus and the Ryazan Region continue to increase mutual trade.

“Over nine months, our trade turnover has increased 1.4-fold compared to January-September last year, and Belarusian exports rose 1.6-fold. These successes were ensured by the successful reorientation of domestic enterprises to our friendly Russia. As a result, a solid increase was obtained in the supply of tractors, trucks, electronic integrated circuits, metallurgy products and foodstuffs. Moreover, the efficient interaction of our business enabled us to enter the market of the Ryazan Region with goods that were not previously supplied there,” she said.

Moreover, Ms. Abramenko said that further deepening of interaction on the basis of industrial co-operation and import substitution, the intensification of business contacts will help maintain these high rates.

“Such work, of course, will receive maximum support from our side,” added the Deputy Economy Minister.
