242 Belarusian women awarded Order of Mother

The President of Belarus, Aleksandr Lukashenko, signed Decree No. 352 on awarding the Order of Mother – as reported by the Belarusian leader’s press service

The Order of Mother has been conferred on 242 women from all regions of Belarus and the city of Minsk for giving birth to and bringing up five and more children.

The award has been bestowed upon ladies from all walks of life, including women working at manufacturing enterprises, in the agricultural sector, construction, housing and communal services, trade and communications, banks and tax services, education, religion, healthcare, culture and social security, and housekeepers.
