Polish farmers blocked Warsaw centre in protest

Polish farmers came out to protest and blocked the centre of Warsaw, RT reports

As informed by RIA Novosti, the protesters are striking against high fertiliser and fuel prices. They are also dissatisfied with the situation in the agricultural sector on the whole.

Thousands of farmers failed to drive into the city by tractors, so they reached the centre of Warsaw by public transport and then blocked one of the city’s central roads.

As reported, a group of demonstrators headed to the government building – aiming to demand a meeting with Polish Prime Minister Mateusz Morawiecki.
