Volfovich: inspection of the country’s security bloc to continue in future
State Secretary of the Security Council of Belarus Aleksandr Volfovich highly appreciated the actions of the engineering troops during the inspection of the immediate reaction forces of the Armed Forces of Belarus. In an interview with journalists after the meeting with the President, Aleksandr Volfovich particularly drew attention to the fact that the inspection took place in difficult weather conditions: snow, ice, frost.
“However, an analysis of the actions of destructive forces and the course of a special military operation in Ukraine suggests that people who are aimed at destabilising the situation, at committing some kind of act of aggression, will not choose good weather conditions,” the State Secretary of the Security Council underlined.
According to him, during the inspection, the engineering units quickly and efficiently did their job, having carried out the construction of two pontoon-bridge crossings across the Nieman and Berezina rivers, “If they had not established crossings, had not completed their tasks, the combat units would not have reached the indicated lines by the appointed time.”
Aleksandr Volfovich stressed that such inspections enable to be sure that the military are capable of fulfilling any assigned tasks, “Therefore, the inspections will continue. We’ll make a detailed analysis, improve something and we will continue to work.”
