Victory Museum exhibits to tour 27 countries

The Victory Museum, in partnership with Rossotrudnichestvo, will present a large-scale international programme this year: 48 exhibition projects will tour 27 countries, and a total of 190 shows are planned

Chronicle of War exposition will open in Azerbaijan and Belgium on Victory Day

Among the countries where the project will be exhibited are Abkhazia, Azerbaijan, Armenia, Afghanistan, the Republic of Belarus, Belgium, Vietnam, India, Spain, Lebanon, Nicaragua, the United States, Finland, and others.

"The joint project aims not only to showcase unique materials from the Victory Museum funds to residents of other countries, but also to emphasise the role of international humanitarian co-operation in preserving the truth about key events of the 20th century," the museum’s press service informed.

The Salute over the Neva exhibition, which will be held in India, Morocco and Cyprus, will be timed to coincide with the anniversary of the liberation of Leningrad from the Nazi blockade. It will include more than 100 digitised materials from the Victory Museum funds: works of art, rare photos, documents, maps, newspapers, and posters.

The Chronicle of War exposition will open in Azerbaijan and Belgium to mark Victory Day, while the Tragedy of Nations exhibition will tour India, Uzbekistan and Armenia. The Path to Victory exposition is scheduled to be showcased in India, Kazakhstan, Morocco, Bulgaria and Vietnam, and the Commanders of the Great Patriotic War collection will go to India and Tajikistan. By June 22nd, the Day of Remembrance and Mourning, the Tragedy. Courage. Feat art exhibition will open in Belgium, Mongolia, Moldova and Germany.

The museum's exhibition projects will be translated into foreign languages.
