The diplomat, in particular, said, “I am very glad to work on the beautiful, friendly, hospitable Belarusian land and will do my best to ensure that relations between Uzbekistan and Belarus develop progressively. Aleksandr Lukashenko visited Uzbekistan last week, the negotiations were intense, and many agreements were reached. As the head of the Uzbek diplomatic mission, my colleagues and I will have to make efforts to ensure that all these agreements are implemented. Our economies complement each other very well, and we have a very good potential for developing co-operation. We will focus on the implementation of joint projects aimed at developing the markets of third countries. This is mutually beneficial for Belarus and Uzbekistan.”

Mr. Nazarov added that more than 70 million people live in the Central Asian region, Afghanistan with a population of 35 million is nearby, and South Asian countries are further away, “In short, we have very great prospects to achieve success and ensure the well-being of our peoples through joint efforts. Uzbekistan is interested in mutually beneficial co-operation with Belarus.”
