According to the Russian Governor, over the past week during which the Ulyanovsk Region delegation has worked in Belarus, nine agreements were signed, and ‘additional points of contact were identified where we can help each other in terms of industrial co-operation’, “The dialogue will continue, this is only the beginning of our long journey together. Over the past two years, our relations have been developing very dynamically: there is an exponential growth in trade, we’re liaising in terms of import substitution, localisation of production, and industrial interaction.”

Aleksei Russkikh also spoke about co-operation between aircraft manufacturing enterprises, particularly, between the Ulyanovsk aircraft factories – Aviastar and AeroComposite – and the Minsk Civil Aviation Plant No. 407 and the 558th Aircraft Repair Plant, “An agreement has been signed, and supplies of components are already underway. This is not just a tribute. We, Ulyanovsk aircraft manufacturers, really need this. Our Belarusian brothers really help us with this.”
