Ukrainian NSDC Head threatened Germany with war in case of the latter’s refusal to supply tanks
The Head of Ukraine’s National Security and Defence Council, Oleksiy Danilov, stated that if Berlin refuses to provide Kiev with heavy armoured vehicles, then military operations will unfold on the territory of Germany, RIA Novosti reports
Mr. Danilov said that if German Federal Chancellor Olaf Scholz wants Germans to fight against Russians near Berlin and Stuttgart, then he ‘can continue this game, conducting sociological research on whether Ukraine needs to be given tanks or not’.
Kiev, as well as Germany's Western partners, have repeatedly demanded that it step up the supply of military equipment for the Ukrainian army. In particular, the former Ambassador of Ukraine to Germany, Andriy Melnyk, has sharply criticised the German authorities’ position many times.
