Ukraine to receive $10m grant from WB for healthcare
Ukraine will receive additional support from the World Bank in the amount of $10m, TASS reports
It is clarified that the corresponding agreement was signed by the Minister of Health of Ukraine, Viktor Lyashko, and the World Bank Regional Country Director for eastern Europe, Arup Banerji.
The money will be spent on the healthcare sector. “Ukraine will direct half of the grant funds to the provision of rehabilitation and mental health services," Mr. Lyashko said.
The second half of the funds is supposed to be spent on restoring medical facilities damaged during hostilities.
Earlier, Ukraine received a loan of $132m from the World Bank for agriculture.
