Two helicopters of Belarus’ Emergencies Ministry help extinguish forest fires in Turkiye

Belarusian rescuers continue to fight forest fires in Turkiye, the Emergencies Ministry reports in its Telegram channel

Two helicopters of the Emergencies Ministry of Belarus – Mi-8 and Mi-26 – are on combat duty, their crews were extinguishing fires in the areas of the cities of Ankara, Izmir, Istanbul and Antalya last week.

As reported, since the beginning of the mission, Belarusian rescuers have completed 173 flights with a total flight time of 297 hours and 36 minutes. More than 850 dumps with about three thousand tonnes of water were carried out on the fires.
