Talai: Today Union State is an island of hope, light, goodness and justice

The National Library of Belarus has hosted an international forum, entitled History for the Future: Russia and Belarus. Speaking to its participants, public figure, Paralympian, motivational coach, and founder of the charitable foundation Aleksei Talai noted that a couple of years ago no one could imagine how they would say from high stands that other people are not a nation, and they are subject to complete destruction.

“The so-called ‘light-faced knights' who show their imaginary humanism with fire and sword are afraid of the truth. We clearly saw all this when European diplomats demonstratively did not want to visit and talk to the children of Donbass vacationing in Belarus who suffered from hostilities. Such a position is understandable, because then their forgery and slander against our and undisputed leaders – Aleksandr Lukashenko and Vladimir Putin – will be disclosed. The current era will certainly go down in history as an era when evil no longer lurks under sheep’s clothing. The stakes are too high when everyone has taken off their masks. Once again, the right to exist of our people has been called into question. Once again, we had to defend our homeland and we still have to defend it. It's not over yet.”

Aleksei Talai believes that we are very lucky, because we are the heirs of a great thousand-year-old culture, “This is a culture of love, creation and mutual assistance and, most importantly, a culture of justice and truth. Our strength lies in the truth. Our civilisation, cemented by the Russian language and Russian multinational people, is strikingly different from many. Undoubtedly, we cherish traditional family values as the basis of the state and society.”

The motivational speaker noted that times have come now that it is very important to stick together, based on the example of our ancestors, “We have shown the whole world that we are truly a Union State. When the night is dark, the stars are visible more clearly. Our Union State today is an island of hope, light, goodness and justice. These are not empty words. I will not exaggerate if I say that the fate of the whole world depends on how competently our union develops and is replenished with other countries.”
