Haitham bin Tariq Al Said expressed that Oman is pleased with the fruitful dialogue with Belarus. He recalled that during the Belarusian President’s visit to Oman last year, several agreements were signed, and today’s meeting continues this constructive exchange between the two countries.

“We affirm our support for the development of these relations,” the distinguished guest stated.

The Sultan of Oman mentioned that the delegation visiting Belarus includes heads from various departments who are keen to discuss issues of co-operation with Belarus. Haitham bin Tariq Al Said also highlighted Oman’s strong appreciation for the creation of a joint committee on co-operation and investment.

“We see this as a positive beginning to co-ordinate and facilitate interaction so that we can fulfill all our agreements,” he said.

Oman places special emphasis on trade-economic liaisons. Haitham bin Tariq Al Said noted that, up to now, the outcomes have not fully met the ambitions of both countries.

“We are trying to work hard to keep our relations on the rise in this area,” Haitham bin Tariq Al Said affirmed.
