State Property Committee assessed damage caused to Belarus during Great Patriotic War

The instruction of the country’s leadership to assess the damage suffered by the country during the Great Patriotic War has been fulfilled – as noted by Chairman of the State Property Committee Dmitry Matusevich during the final board of the department. The special working group on damage assessment has completed its work.

“We do not disclose the figures, all materials have been submitted to the Prosecutor General’s Office,” Dmitry Matusevich noted.

He added that the commission studied the materials and conclusions of the emergency commission, which was established immediately after the Great Patriotic War. Additional calculations were also carried out to clarify the losses of Belarus during the war. “If any new facts and circumstances appear, the commission will continue its work,” Dmitry Matusevich noted.
