Sergeyenko: open and systematic dialogue is important more than ever in situation of global instability

In the current global and regional situation, Belarus supports the existing and initiates new formats of dialogue, and the republic’s position in the international arena is based on continuity, loyalty to principles and traditions, stability and openness of the Belarusian society – as stated in a greeting on behalf of the Head of the President Administration, Igor Sergeyenko, to the participants of the Strategic Analysis and Forecasting: Belarus in Global World scientific and practical conference held today in Minsk

The expert discussion – organised by the Belarusian Institute for Strategic Studies – has brought together the heads and analysts of the leading research centre-partners of Belarus and foreign states: Azerbaijan, Vietnam, Iran, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, the UAE, Russia, Turkiye, Uzbekistan, as well as the CSTO Secretariat.

“In a situation of global instability, an open and systematic dialogue is more important than ever. The modern world faces many problems and contradictions that have caused serious crisis phenomena. In this regard, the relevance of the conference, the format of which is defined as a meeting of friends and like-minded people, is of particular importance,” the text of the greeting reads.

It was noted by Mr. Sergeyenko in his address that the confidential communication of experts and analysts makes it possible to comprehensively investigate various aspects of current global processes.
