At a recent joint press conference with Czech President Milos Zeman, the Serbian leader noted, “We have transferred humanitarian aid and support [to Ukraine] in every possible way, and we will send even more. We will participate in the city construction, and we have already received an offer from their ambassador [to Serbia, Vladimir Tolkach].”

It is recalled that, after the start of Russia's special operation in Ukraine, Alexander Vucic addressed the nation following a meeting of the Security Council, saying that Belgrade supports the territorial integrity of Ukraine, but it will not impose anti-Russian sanctions. The Serbian leader noted that the republic temporarily stopped army and police exercises with all foreign partners. At the same time, he said Belgrade considers Russia and Ukraine fraternal states, regrets what is happening in the east of Europe, and is ready to provide humanitarian assistance to Kiev.
