Saudi Arabia Ambassador highly appreciated Belarus’ socio-economic development
The Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Belarus to Russia, Dmitry Krutoi, met with the Ambassador of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia to the Russian Federation with concurrent accreditation to the Republic of Belarus, Adbulrahman bin Suleiman Al-Ahmad, the Belarusian Embassy in Russia reports
The parties discussed key issues of the development of traditionally friendly Belarusian-Saudi relations and co-operation in multilateral formats, also focusing on topical issues on the global and Middle East agenda.
Dmitry Krutoi and Adbulrahman bin Suleiman Al-Ahmad agreed on the absence of contradictions in bilateral relations, stated the closeness of approaches in international affairs. They expressed mutual interest in intensifying political, trade, economic and investment liaisons, exchanging visits and holding joint events, including political consultations and a regular meeting of the intergovernmental joint committee.
In addition, the parties agreed to promote co-operation between Belarus and Saudi Arabia.
Dmitry Krutoi spoke about Belarus’ great potential in agriculture, industrial production and education, while also stressing the readiness of the country’s Chamber of Commerce and Industry and business circles to expand ties with Saudi partners.
In turn, Adbulrahman bin Suleiman Al-Ahmad, who repeatedly visited Belarus in the past, praised the country’s socio-economic development and expressed readiness to actively promote contacts at all levels.
