Sabalenka remained second in WTA updated ranking

The Women’s Tennis Association (WTA) has published an updated world ranking, with Aryna Sabalenka being placed above all Belarusian female tennis players, retaining the second position

Victoria Azarenka is still the 25th racket on the planet, while Aliaksandra Sasnovich dropped one line and is now 110th.

Poland’s Iga Swiatek is at the top of the ranking, just like in the previous version, followed by Aryna Sabalenka (Belarus), Coco Gauff (USA), Elena Rybakina (Kazakhstan), Jessica Pegula (USA), Maria Sakkari (Greece), Zheng Qinwen (China), Marketa Vondrousova (Czech Republic), Ons Jabeur (Tunisia) and Jelena Ostapenko (Latvia).

In the ranking published by the Association of Tennis Professionals (ATP), Ilya Ivashka is placed the highest among Belarusians, though he immediately dropped 65 positions and is now only 300th.

Serbian Novak Djokovic is in the lead, followed by Jannik Sinner (Italy), Carlos Alcaraz (Spain), Daniil Medvedev (Russia), Alexander Zverev (Germany), Casper Ruud (Norway), Stefanos Tsitsipas (Greece), Andrey Rublev (Russia), Hubert Hurkacz (Poland) and Grigor Dimitrov (Bulgaria).

Tsitsipas returned to the top-10, rising five places at once, after winning the ATP Masters 1000 tennis tournament with a prize pool of €5,950,575 in Monte Carlo.
