Russian Foreign Ministry lists countries with which it’s planned to introduce simplified visa regime

Russia is preparing visa facilitation agreements with six states, including India, Syria and Indonesia, TASS reports

State Secretary – Deputy Foreign Minister of the Russian Federation Yevgeny Ivanov explained, “Alongside India, the drafting of intergovernmental agreements, which envisage visa facilitation on a reciprocal basis, is being carried out with Angola, Vietnam, Indonesia, Syria and the Philippines.”

Earlier, the Deputy Head of the Russian Foreign Ministry stated that the Russian Federation is also preparing intergovernmental agreements on visa-free travel with eleven countries: Bahrain, Oman, Saudi Arabia, Bahamas, Barbados, Haiti, Zambia, Kuwait, Malaysia, Mexico, Trinidad and Tobago.
