Russian expert: international isolation of Belarus is myth, it is profitable to co-operate with the republic

It is profitable to co-operate with Belarus – as stated by Konstantin Shadrov, an associate professor at Russia’s Dubna State University, as he commented on the recent visits of the Belarusian President to China, the United Arab Emirates and Equatorial Guinea

In his talk with the Belarus 1 TV channel, the Russian expert noted, “Despite the myth of international isolation, Belarus is definitely a country open to the whole world. It is heartily welcomed in China, the United Arab Emirates, and Equatorial Guinea. This is happening, since it is profitable to co-operate with Belarus, and these relations are based on mutually beneficial and mutually respectful principles. Speaking of international isolation, it is actually observed on the part of Western countries. By turning away from Belarus, they have demonstrated that the holy place is never empty: there is someone to close the gaps, there are no problems in finding other partners and building normal relations with them.”
