The Prosecutor General's Office continues to investigate the criminal case of genocide during the Great Patriotic War, and it has prepared a map of Belarus, featuring the facts of the fascists’ atrocities.

“The map of the burned villages is evidence of the pain and memory of the Belarusian people. It is simply enough to look at it to understand that this is the price that Belarusians had to pay for the right to live a peaceful life," the press service noted.

It is also informed that the updated map was prepared by the National Cadastral Agency and the Prosecutor General's Office, and it is available on the website of the public cadastral map.

"The memory in our minds and hearts of every burned village and destructed fate is a living memory that the Belarusian people pass on from one generation to another,” the Prosecutor General's Office said. “It is important today to prevent the revival of Nazism – that is leading to severe social and armed conflicts, genocide – on our land.”
