Polish MiG-29 fighter jet lost fuel tank during training flight
A Polish MiG-29 fighter lost its fuel tank which fell near residential buildings during a training flight, TASS reports with reference to the Main Command of the Polish Armed Forces
“There has been a loss of a fuel tank. The tank was empty, and it fell several hundred metres away from the [residential] buildings. As a result of the incident, no one was injured [on the ground],” the statement reads.
As noted by TASS with reference to information from open sources, the fighter belongs to 22nd Tactical Air Base in Malbork. Several other aircraft of the same type are stationed there as well.
