Parkhomchik tested in flight first domestic autogyro produced by Belarus’ NAS

During his visit to Aviation Technologies and Systems CJSC of the National Academy of Sciences (NAS) of Belarus, Deputy Prime Minister Piotr Parkhomchik personally tested an autogyro in flight, the first manned ultralight aircraft produced in our country – as reported in the NAS press service

Piotr Parkhomchik noted the high manoeuvrability and controllability of the vehicle.

The Deputy Prime Minister was also shown the production facilities of the enterprise, which manufactures goods with a high degree of localisation. In particular, he was demonstrated the work of the Agrodrone A60-X based on multi-rotor unmanned aerial vehicles, which is designed to apply plant protection agents using ultralow-volume spraying technology. This unique development of the enterprise was recognised as the winner of the Leaders of the Digital Economy-2022 national competition in the Software and Hardware Product of the Year nomination of the Agro-Industrial Complex category and was awarded a 2nd degree diploma.

The company also presented other developments, including a drone, the analogue of which is operating at the Belarusian station in Antarctica, a drone with the possibility of vertical takeoff, a stand for testing propeller engines, and a stand for testing drone engines.

Aviation Technologies and Systems JSC of the National Academy of Sciences of Belarus is a Chinese-Belarusian enterprise. The enterprise is located in the Great Stone Industrial Park, the 33rd resident of which is Aviation Technologies and Systems CJSC. All products are produced on the basis of our own developments, the main concept of which is to improve the performance reliability, duration and range of flights of the developed equipment.
