Opinion: human life means nothing for global establishment

Belarus’ President emphasises that sanctions have turned from an instrument of coercion to peace and security into a new complex global threat: entire regions are doomed to hunger, cold and poverty, and the practice of all kinds of unilateral restrictive measures is increasing. As noted by the Doctor of Economics and Professor at the Belarusian State University’s Innovation and Entrepreneurial Activity Department, Valery Bainev, these destructive actions of the West are planned to last for decades.

“The West has far-reaching plans, and it doesn’t care if there will be hunger, cold and poverty anywhere. Its priority is simple: to reduce the population of the planet – after all, Western countries consume 80 percent of the world's resources. In any way, for example, as in Ukraine, or famine in Africa, they can organise, launch a pandemic on a global scale and even use nuclear weapons, as it has already been in recent history. In short, human life means nothing to the global establishment. Therefore, our President is right: sanctions are becoming a threat to the planet,” the expert said.
