New sniper rifle developed in Russia
A new Russian sniper rifle – jointly developed by Chechen instructors of the Russian University of Special Forces (Gudermes) and the Bespoke Gun company – was presented in the Chechen Republic
As reported by RIA Novosti, manufacturers will transfer 17 previously ordered high-precision shooting complexes to the training centre, including a model developed jointly with instructors of the university's sniper department. According to senior instructor Aslambek Arsanukayev, this is a high-tech and high-precision sniper complex.
The rifle presentation was attended by the Head of the Chechen Republic, Ramzan Kadyrov, and Russian public figure Viktor Bout. As the Russian University of Special Forces noted in its Telegram channel, the calibre of the rifle is 6.5 PRC, and its firing range is 1,600 metres.
