National Bank CEO: Belarus’ enterprises adapted to external shocks over past three years

Belarusian enterprises have adapted to external shocks over the past three years – as stated by the Chairman of the Board of the National Bank, Pavel Kallaur, following his today’s meeting with the President

In particular, Mr. Kallaur stressed, “In any conditions, even the most difficult ones, the economy will work, and the only question is how effectively it will operate and what the result it will produce. Importantly, over the past three years, our enterprises have adapted to external shocks, and a good indicator of GDP growth is an evidence of this: in February, it stood at four percent. Therefore, it is necessary to be able to respond promptly and professionally to any challenges.”
