Musk disapproved of Biden administration's migration policy
American entrepreneur Elon Musk stated that the US President Joe Biden’s administration ‘rolls out the red carpet’ for illegal migrants instead of securing the borders of the country, RIA Novosti reports
Musk has previously criticised the Biden administration for ‘actively promoting illegal migration’. The entrepreneur's current comment was posted on the social network after the published US Senate bill on the assistance to Ukraine and protection of the country's border.
“Rather than secure the borders, this administration and many states are rolling out the red carpet!” [for illegal migrants], Musk said on his social network X.
On February 5th, the US Senate introduced a bill that combines the allocation of money for border security and assistance to Ukraine and Israel. In total, the bill envisages allocating 118.28 billion Dollars, of which 60.06 billion Dollars will go to support Kiev, while for border’s security is three times less - $20.2 billion Dollars. Biden urged Congress to pass the document as soon as possible.
This bill provoked harsh criticism from the Republican Party. As former US President Donald Trump noted, only a fool, or a Radical Left Democrat, would vote for this ‘horrendous’ bill, which was presented by the US Senate.
According to the Speaker of the US House of Representatives, Mike Johnson, the proposed bill combining aid to Kiev, Israel and securing the borders of the States is ‘worse than expected’ and the initiative itself is doomed to failure.
