Mezentsev: West’s blasphemous statements and monstrous lies aimed to denigrate Russia and Belarus

Those who organise an unjust and cruel system of pressure on Belarus and Russia are the heirs of those who were defeated by Soviet soldiers and soldiers of the anti-Hitler coalition countries in 1945 – as noted by State Secretary of the Union State Dmitry Mezentsev at the opening of the Ordinary Nazism exhibition, dedicated to the tragedy of the Donbass civilian population and the crimes of Ukrainian neo-Nazis

Speaking at the opening ceremony, Dmitry Mezentsev stressed, “Today we are forced to admit that those who organise an unjust and cruel system of pressure on Belarus and Russia are the heirs of those who were defeated by Soviet soldiers and soldiers of the anti-Hitler coalition countries in 1945. The exhibition shows us absolutely real facts of the present day: how it is possible to supposedly prove that one is right, trampling on universal human norms.”

The State Secretary of the Union State drew attention to the West’s ongoing attempts to distort and rewrite world history, “There are blasphemous statements, monstrous lies, and outrageous untruths in support of the one and same model: to denigrate Russia and Belarus and to whitewash Nazism, which today is present again in the history of the region where we live, in the history of Europe.”

The Ordinary Nazism exhibition project started with an exposition that opened at Moscow’s Victory Museum in spring 2022, and continued with the exhibition of the same name, which has already been on show in Rostov-on-Don, Nalchik, Novosibirsk, Vladivostok and other Russian cities. From December 19th, 2023 to January 30th, 2024, the exhibition will be on display in the Russian House in Minsk.
