Media: European Commission may take measures against Poland for blocking borders with Ukraine
If the Polish authorities do not resolve the issue of blocking the borders with Ukraine in any way, the European Commission may decide to impose certain restrictions on Warsaw, RIA Novosti reports with reference to RMF FM
It is noted that, in accordance with the laws of the European Union, the Polish authorities need to ensure the free movement of Ukrainian trucks across the border.
At the same time, it is not specified exactly what measures the European Commission can take if the Polish authorities do not resolve the situation.
According to RMF FM, the issue of initiating a case on violation of the regulation on the liberalisation of EU trade with Ukraine, which was recently extended until the summer of next year, is being studied.
