Media: Ankara ready to mediate between Belgrade and Kosovo
Türkiye is ready to contribute to the establishment of a dialogue between Serbia and the Republic of Kosovo, with the corresponding statement made in the Turkish President administration – as reported by RIA Novosti
Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan held telephone conversations on May 31st with Serbian President Aleksandar Vučić and Kosovo Prime Minister Albin Kurti.
“President Erdogan said during the conversations that Türkiye is ready to contribute to the dialogue process,” follows from the administration’s statement, quoted by RIA Novosti.
Recep Tayyip Erdogan expressed the opinion that the only way to establish a lasting peace in the region is the negotiation process. Moreover, the Turkish leader discussed bilateral relations with Aleksandar Vučić and Albin Kurti.
