Lukashenko: we’ll adequately respond to any opponent, we have been preparing for this for more than a decade
If necessary, Belarus will be able to give a worthy response to any opponent – as stated by Head of State Aleksandr Lukashenko during today’s meeting on security issues, BelTA reports
“I instructed the Defence Ministry and the State Security Committee to work out a possible set of measures to control the situation and respond to it. But I warn you again: we will adequately respond to any enemy. We have been preparing for this for more than a decade. If necessary, we will respond. God forbit that, of course,” the Belarusian leader asserted.
In this regard, he paid special attention to the role of intelligence, responsible military and civilian officials, who should not miss anything in the development of the situation. “We must know everything that happens near our borders,” the President of Belarus stressed.
