Lukashenko, Tokayev talked by phone

The President of Belarus, Aleksandr Lukashenko, and the President of Kazakhstan, Kassym-Jomart Tokayev, held a telephone conversation – as reported by BelTA with reference to the Belarusian leader’s press service

Kassym-Jomart Tokayev thanked the President of Belarus for support – including within the framework of the CSTO. He also informed Aleksandr Lukashenko on the situation and measures taken to stabilise it.

The heads of state also discussed a number of bilateral issues.
