Addressing the participants of the event, the Head of State noted, “Science must be given top priority. It is necessary to plan my work in universities, the Academy of Sciences, and scientific institutions so that I first of all visit them.”

The President also underlined that previously his work schedule was more focused on the fields, particular enterprises, and the real sector. Today, many practical issues have been settled and work at a higher level has become more relevant, “Science is what we need. This is the main link, that we can grab and pull out the entire chain. Education is also of primary importance. Therefore, there can be no quality without science and education. We need to give priority attention to these issues.”

The Head of State added that if it is necessary to redirect money to this area, this must be done, but with a key condition, “No one will just be given money. Only for a specific result, and there will be the strictest responsibility for fulfilment.”
