Lukashenko: strong contacts between Minsk and Brasilia will withstand the test of today’s difficult times
The President of Belarus, Aleksandr Lukashenko, has extended Independence Day greetings to President of Brazil Jair Bolsonaro – as reported in the Belarusian leader’s press service
“A very important direction of Belarus’ foreign policy remains the consistent development of friendly and full-fledged ties with your country – a significant pole in the modern geopolitical system and one of the strongest economies in the world. This year, we celebrated the 30th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations. During this time, a lot of things have been done for building a truly mutually beneficial interstate dialogue,” the congratulatory message reads.
The Belarusian Head of State expressed his conviction that the strong contacts between Minsk and Brasilia will withstand the test of today’s difficult times, enabling the two states to fill the bilateral agenda with new specific content and effectively implementing the existing opportunities for co-operation.
