Lukashenko: scientific successes among factors of national security

In his address to representatives of the National Academy of Sciences, the President outlined the task that the scientific community aims to solve today

“Science should serve in the interests of humankind – but, primarily, of the country’s people. I am convinced that you – true patriots and people with a clear civic position – understand this perfectly well. You understand that your successes are among the factors of Belarus’ national security,” Aleksandr Lukashenko stressed.

The President urged scientists to talk openly about the problems they face and to determine the prospects for domestic science development.
