Lukashenko named the only issue he would like to discuss with Xi Jinping
At today’s talks in Beijing with Chinese President Xi Jinping, Belarusian President Aleksandr Lukashenko named the only main issue that he would like to discuss: the speed in implementing the outlined plans of bilateral co-operation development, BelTA reports
"When preparing for this visit and interrogating my colleagues [at a meeting with the leadership of the Government and the President Administration which focused on the issues of Belarusian-Chinese co-operation development] about what needs to be done, what aspects are not progressing, in order to further tell the Chairman about it, we discovered not a single point that was not developing. The only issue that I would like to discuss with you today is speed," the Head of State said.
"Time is so compressed, and this compression does not depend on us – maybe this is good or maybe not. It is so compressed that sometimes we fall behind, we find no time – and this refers not only to China, Belarus. It is happening everywhere in the world, so the one who reaches his goal first will be at the top," Aleksandr Lukashenko added.
