The Head of State noted that, during the Russian Governor’s visit to China last week, prospects for co-operation in the field of the digital economy and information technology were discussed, “We have accumulated some experience of working with China and the applied use of such high-tech solutions. I propose to combine efforts to commercialise them. Stop serving orders only of Western companies, let our specialists work more for their countries.”

The Belarusian leader added that the republic also enjoys opportunities for co-operation in such advanced areas as biotechnology, microelectronics, energy, and composite materials. “All this is very much in demand today and allows us to ensure the technological sovereignty we actually need,” he stressed.
